Project Manager / Account Lead – Transport Data / Planning

Project Manager / Client Account Lead with a mix of project management for multiple client centric projects, combined with experience of account management / building client relationships and the coordination of a teams as you will be responsible for traffic data collection team / data monitoring to make the most of transportation monitoring projects is required fast growing transportation consultancy and technology business. This role works close with local authorities and property developers to develop client relationships ensure service delivery and drive project efficiency / project delivery to specification / budget.  

Salary £50-60k + Bens + Bonus

This is a hybrid role which will be based in the London City office typically three days per week.

Key experience as a Project Manager / Client Account Lead would include:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a role with multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with transport planning/ transport data collection, or data-driven decision-making in local government / local councils would be a big plus
  • Excellent client-facing / customer centric skills and communication skills, with the ability to handle changing requirements / specifications and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Strong ability to handle unexpected client problems and adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
  • Proficient in tracking project budgets and processing project finances and ensuring adherence to internal financial procedures.
  • Strong computer skills and structured project management skills

Desirable Experience and Skills as a Project Manager / Client Account Lead would include:

  • Experience in the delivery of transport data collection or transport planning projects and analysis.
  • Knowledge of traffic data collection best practices and transportation management project delivery
  • Experience of delivering projects into local councils

This role is client-facing with a focus on growth and expansion of client accounts. With numerous traffic monitoring projects running simultaneously the Project Manager / Account Lead role will require exceptional project management skills to ensure proposals, results, and payments are delivered on time and in accordance with internal procedures. You will also be responsible for handling unforeseen issues, managing client requests, and ensuring that projects adapt to changing requirements.
